In 2013 Ross-on-Wye swimming club became part of the City of Hereford Swimming Club securing its future and furthering the development of young athletes in the area. The programme is led by UKCC Level 3 coach Andy Boucher and overseen by the Hereford Club Head Coach. The sessions are assisted by a dedicated team of coaches and parent volunteers. All squads follow a routine of dry warm up and stretch down using the GB dryland protocols. There is a 15 minute dry land set at the beginning of each session and a 10 minute stretch down routine at the end. There are now six squads training out of this section; all follow the principles of Long Tern Athlete Development.
